The Kratom Experience

This experience report is based on my beliefs, my experiences, my perception, and my opinion. I am not a doctor, scientist, or medical professional. Consult your health care provider before use. Not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure, any ailments, conditions, diseases, etc.

Kratom is quickly becoming one of the most widely used recreational and medicinal substances on the face of the earth. It's a tree that comes from South East Asia. I find it hard to believe that people are just discovering its benefits and positive vibes in the west, but it's true. It's just now making an appearance in the western world, for around a decade or two now. Chances are a few people out there knew about it prior to this, but not like they do now.. I used Kratom before it was the trendy thing to do. I can't blame anyone for joining this fad though, because it's the biggest thing to hit the states sense Marijuana.

In the west Kratom is commonly sold in the form of a powder, or capsules. I personally prefer the powder because it kicks in faster and seems to have a more profound effect. A lot of people complain about the taste. I seem to be like one of the few white guys that can take it like a champ. It doesn't taste bad at all to me. So what does it actually feel like? What are the effects? I'll describe the Kratom experience the best that I can. I've been a user for over ten years. I've seen the entire war on Kratom unfold from all the way back before people really knew about it. I will share my personal testimony and you can be the judge. I consider it something along the lines of Ayahuasca, without the psychedelic aspects, and a recreational twist. In other words, it's like this divine gift to the masses, and its vibe is very important and needs to be felt and shared.

Kratom makes me feel awake, alert, talkative, social, happy, and very motivated. I use it before work as it seems to also boost my creativity. It stimulates my creative writing mind and enhances my sense of satisfaction. It takes my pain away and also seems to ease my anxiety and potential worries( if they're ara any ). It changes a negative perspective to a positive one for me every time. There are Kratom bars in South Florida where I live, and it's in my opinion, a much better social lubricant than alcohol. You can keep your wits about you on the stuff, and you're eyes don't get red or crazy looking. The stuff is so good that the DEA and FDA wanted to wrongfully ban it. There is a huge resistance in the states towards any type of diabolical prohibition of this mystical entheogen, as I like to reference it.

I've sat up late sometimes with friends just hanging out and eating our majestic powdered leaf. It was a blast. We would talk and share empathetic insight into situations in our lives, which brings me to my next point. I consider Kratom to be an "empathogen", being a substance that enhances and stimulate the concept of empathy. Empathy is relating to and understanding the feelings of others. It also seems to enhance the sympathy response, as it tends to amplify any emotions felt at the time. There are a wide range of phytochemical studies published on its pharmacological potential and you can read some of them via scholar.google.com Thanks for stopping by!
