Ethnobotanicals

Ethnobotanicals are technically plants which have any kind of cultural appreciation. Technically they're the same as our herbals, but what differentiates this category of plants it that they tend to have a history of use in a spiritual or religious context. Many are used ceremonially, and this is where the distinction is drawn between them and other botanicals used in herbalism. These types of plants are often discussed by groups such as MAPS, and famous ethnobotanist such as Claud Rifat, and the McKenna brothers.
