Product Overview

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is most known for its use as one of the main ingredients in Absinthe, an ancient and mysterious brew that was recently made legal in the United States. It's also used in the culinary arts, but mostly in the brew we are speaking of... This "Absinthe" brew was alcoholic (contained alcohol), and is comprised mostly of Fennel, Anise Star, and Wormwood. It was made in a very specific way. This was required for it to work properly. Real Absinthe, will glow neon green in the dark when a drop is released onto a sugar cube.

Fennel has other applications though, and isn't just used in recipes such as Absinthe.. It's loaded with antioxidants and complex as well as unique phytochemicals ( pharmacological compounds, alkaloids, and constituents ) Herbalist prize it for preventing age-related diseases like heart diseases and cancer, and appreciate it's unique culinary charisma. It's also very commonly used in herbalism for digestive health, as an eye wash, and for many common ailments in general. Don't consume if pregnant or may become pregnant!
